Development-oriented SAP Application Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and development-oriented SAP Application Specialist to join our team.  

About the role
As an SAP Application Specialist, you will play a key role in the maintenance department, ensuring our SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module effectively supports business processes and operational goals. 

Your expertise will drive efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement within our SAP landscape.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for:

• SAP PM optimization: Configure, customize, and enhance the SAP PM module to align with business needs and industry best practices.
• System support & troubleshooting: Provide technical support, resolve issues, and ensure system stability.
• Process & integration management: Work closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules, including MM, WM, and FI.
• Enhancements & innovation: Identify opportunities for system improvements and implement new functionalities to drive operational excellence.
• Testing & documentation: Conduct functional and user acceptance testing (UAT), while maintaining clear documentation of system configurations and workflows.  
• Training & knowledge sharing: Develop user-friendly training materials and provide guidance to end-users for effective SAP PM utilization.  
• Initiative: Take the lead in or support SAP PM-related projects, ensuring successful execution within set timelines.
• Upgrade & migration support: Assist with SAP upgrades, migrations, and overall system enhancements.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, it is beneficial to have in-depth knowledge of SAP PM functionalities, including equipment management, maintenance orders, work order processing, and preventive maintenance.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience (3-5 years) in configuring and supporting the SAP PM module.
• Strong understanding of best practices for SAP PM.
• Familiarity with integration of SAP PM with MM, WM, and FI modules.
• Experience with ABAP for simple report generation or user-exit implementation is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to implement, optimize, and support SAP PM.
• Process-oriented, systematic, and structured approach to work.
• Proficiency in analyzing and improving business processes.
• Strong initiative, proactive mindset, and development-oriented attitude.
