Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for optimizing track systems? As a Track System Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our metro infrastructure, serving as the link between maintenance managers, technicians, and our client. As part of our Engineering team, you will work across all four metro lines, driving performance improvements and sustainable solutions.
About the Role
As a Track System Engineer, you will work within the maintenance department, analyzing performance and monitoring data, developing and implementing preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance (CBM) programs to enhance system sustainability.
Your work will directly contribute to the success of our operations and maintenance efforts.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for:
- Analyzing track fault histories, identifying trends, and preparing comprehensive technical reports to inform O&M Management of performance concerns.
- Coordinating and supervising the activities of sub-supplier staff, ensuring high standards of work and safety.
- Providing technical expertise to resolve complex issues, maintaining system reliability, and achieving optimal performance.
- Collaborating with system supervisors to address complex and recurring failures with innovative and efficient solutions.
- Designing and executing engineering-based solutions to mitigate repetitive failures and improve overall track system efficiency.
Experience with statistical record-keeping and technical reports
To succeed in this role, it is beneficial to have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. You should also be able to navigate different levels and agendas within the organization.
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 5 years of experience in analyzing preventive maintenance systems, equipment performance, and reliability in a rail or metro environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in track work, including maintenance and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and advanced problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with IoT systems and their application in condition-based maintenance programs.
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Danish.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfort with using IT tools for job-related tasks.
