As a Reliability Engineer at Metro Service your main task will be to collect and analyse reliability and performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Your tasks as a reliability engineer will also include:
- Develop and implement reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) programs to improve equipment and system reliability
- Conduct root cause analyses of equipment failures, develop and implement corrective actions, validate improvement results, and drive execution and tracking of replication opportunities (Continuous Improvement)
- Provide technical support to cross-functional teams on equipment reliability and maintenance-related issues
- Develop and maintain equipment life-cycle management plans
- Analyse and make recommendations for life extensions or replacement of equipment and systems
- Leverage SAP for effective asset management, maintenance planning, and reliability reporting, ensuring accurate data capture
- Collaborate closely with maintenance teams, operations staff, and other engineering disciplines to meet reliability objectives
- Prepare and present detailed reliability reports and actionable recommendations to senior management
- Lead initiatives focused on enhancing maintenance practices and overall system reliability
To succeed in this role, it is important that you have a technical knowledge, cooperation skills and an interest in driving improvement processes through an analytical approach.
Additionally, we are looking for someone who has:
- A bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Experience with statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making
- Experience in facilitating and executing FMECA and RCM
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to express themselves clearly in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency within the Office Package (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel), SAP and statistical analysis tools such as RStudio, Python, etc.
